Yechiam Castle and the Tefen Museum and Art Gallery.
You will find many delightful Druze, Muslim & Christian villages
within this same area together with traditional attractions open
to the public: Herbal Soap Making, Candle Making & Olive Pressing,
considered the finest oil in Israel. The Druze villages
of "Horfesh" & "Beit-jan" are the highest in the Western Galilee,
affording amazing views.
For the "Hardy Hiker" you have a choice of scenic routes through
the Wadi to reach the ruins of Monfort Castle. Driving and hiking
will take 40 minutes or up to 2 hour's (depending on your route).
For the grotto's of Rosh Hanikra, AhzivPark, Nahariya and Ancient
Acco, all on the Mediterranean coast. Approx 1/2 hour away by car .
